Biasiswa Siswi SAFI is designed to support bright and exceptional Malaysian female students who demonstrate financial need, good academic standing having a CGPA of 3.0 or higher, leadership and aspirational qualities, and active involvement in community or cocurricular activities. It aims to cover university tuition fees and provides a semester-based allowance to support students in completing their studies

Tunku's vision of Malaysia was of a nation that is shaped and strengthened by the diversity of its people. He believed in building a Malaysian society that uplifts all, regardless of colour or creed. In honour of this vision, the Tunku Abdul Rahman Foundation was initially set up in 1966 to provide financial assistance to youths so that they could pursue higher education. Since 2019, the Foundation has expanded its work to further Tunku's legacy. We now empower and develop youth from under-represented backgrounds to become leaders of themselves, their communities, and the nation.

The OCBC Bank culture rests on nurturing and developing outstanding individuals through quality education, and providing them challenging – and rewarding – opportunities to grow to their fullest potential. Apart from the financial aid we provide to cover tuition fees and daily living expenses, we offer our scholars internship opportunities to gain hands-on working experience. The scholarship is open to students who have gained admission or are eligible for admission into their first year full-time undergraduate studies at all public and private universities recognised by the Government of Malaysia.

Our scholarship programme is for students seeking to complete their tertiary education at a public or private university. STPM, Matriculation, 'A' Levels, or other foundation programme graduates may apply. Up to 30 scholarships are available each year.
